What a year!

This is my last political cartoon of 2011.

And what a year it has been. A lot happened during 2011, from national revolts in Arab countries, to the deaths of Steve Jobs and Amy Winehouse and Gaddafi, to Juju being sacked, to me winning my first award.

I don’t know about you, but I am certainly exhausted.

The world’s greatest lizard

What is a Bearded Dragon’s favourite game? The answer is Ant Crusher, obviously.
What is a Bearded Dragon’s favourite operating system? The answer is Android, obviously.

We can thank YouTube user ThatSpecialGuy for this revelation. You see, he posted a video of his pet bearded dragon playing a game of Ant Crusher on his Android device (looks to be an HTC phone), and the scaly yet adorable creature absolutely kills it. [via]

Android is eating Apple

Business Insider has released the latest smartphone operating system stats.

In short, Android – with 52% of the global market – is killing the competition. (HTC and Samsung, for example, make brilliant Android devices.)

Nokia and BlackBerry are falling like the Twin Towers, while Apple has stayed largely flat (despite dodgy work ethics).

Everyone knows that, other than cheap internet and general uselessness, BlackBerry has nothing going for it. Nokia had its fifteen minutes of fame during the early 2000s. (Who can forget the 3310? It’s still one of the greatest phones ever made.)

Meanwhile, this picture neatly summarises the most important bits in the graph.

In the Garden Of Eden

This cartoon is, kind of, an accidental salute to Steve Jobs because I drew it before he died.
